Privacy Policy

Pulse is operated by Hey Ben LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy describes what information Pulse collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Pulse stores the following data locally on your device:

• Workout history (exercises completed, dates, repetitions, and durations)
• App settings and preferences (schedule, session mode, enabled tags)
• Body weight, if you choose to provide it, for calorie estimation

Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, Pulse can write workout data and active energy burned to Apple Health. Pulse does not read data from Apple Health. Health data shared with Apple Health is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

In accordance with Apple’s HealthKit guidelines, Pulse does not use HealthKit data for advertising or share it with third parties.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device, your workout data and settings may sync across your devices via Apple’s CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to us.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• We do not track your location
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties
• We do not store any of your data on our servers

In-App Purchases

Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored on your device (and in your private iCloud account, if enabled). You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device. We do not retain any data after deletion.

Children’s Privacy

Pulse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
